| Silk Italian Gown in the Style of the 1540s |
| Made from 100% dupioni silk, this gown is an excellent choice for warm faire weather! The bodice is lined in canvas and has an attached pleated skirt. The large sleeves are one piece and tie-on at the shoulder through lacing rings. There are several portraits that inspired the design of the gown, all dated 1533-to 1540. You can view them here. This is a custom made gown, meaning we will sew it to fit you within two to three weeks. Color choices are: Burgundy (shown), gold, dark blue, royal blue, black, brown, emerald green, forest green, salmon, purple, dark red, and white or off-white for bridal use. Please email us if you'd like fabric samples, have a specific request, or need a rush order. Jewelry and hoopslip not included. |
